On June 15, 2023, we held our annual fundraiser at the Lin & Ted Arison Israeli Conservatoire of Music in Tel-Aviv.

At the event, we showcased the foundations activities during the previous year, heard speeches in memory of Ika, and announced the five scholarship winners for the academic year 2023-24.

Two students in their second year from the joint academic programme between the conservatoire and the School of Jazz and Contemporary Music at the New School in New York – a four-year programme for outstanding jazz players. In addition, scholarships were awarded to three very talented high-school students from the “In Tune” programme for at-risk youth.

The evening also included a recital by pianist Amit Yahav, who performed works by Beethoven, Chopin and Schumann.
